Just after 6:00AM (2-9-26) Tulare Fire and Police were called to Family Baptist Church in the 1700 Blk E Prosperity for a structure fire. TFD arrived to find flames coming through the roof which prompted a 2nd alarm response. There do not appear to be any injuries and the cause of the fire is currently unknown. TFD are still on scene and Eastbound Prosperity is blocked at Laspina. Southbound Laspina is also blocked from Prosperity. We will update if we receive any further information! | Visalia

Just after 1:15AM (6-17-25) Tulare Fire Dept and CHP were called to NB CA-99 just south of the prosperity overpass for a large fire. A transient was seen lighting fires along the freeway until a motorcyclist pulled up, scaring him off. The motorcyclist stood by for Tulare City Fire Dept who arrived to extinguish the blaze.
